In some situations, you may need to pause or completely stop email follow-ups for an individual contact within a lead campaign. Whether a contact has replied, completed the sequence, or opted out, Oversee provides easy options to manage each contact’s email flow. This guide walks you through the steps to pause or remove a contact from the email flow.

Step 1: Navigate to the Lead Campaign

Start by navigating to the Campaigns tab on the dashboard. Select the specific campaign where the contact is enrolled. For this example, we’ll use the Las Vegas Coffee Shops campaign. Once you're inside the campaign, click on the Contacts tab to view all contacts included in the campaign.

Step 2: Locate the Contact

In the list of contacts, find the person you want to pause or remove from the flow. You can use the search bar to quickly find the contact by name or email address. In this case, we’ll look for [email protected] as an example.

Step 3: Open Actions Menu

Once you locate the contact, click on the three-dot menu (Actions) on the far right of the contact's row. This will open a dropdown with several options to manage the contact's flow.

Step 4: Pause or Remove the Contact

From the dropdown menu, you have several options:

  • Mark as Replied: Stops further follow-ups as the contact has responded.

  • Mark as Completed: Stops further follow-ups, marking the contact’s sequence as done.

  • End Sequence: Immediately stops the sequence for the contact.

  • Add to Do-Not-Mail: Adds the contact to the do-not-mail list, ensuring they will not receive future communications.

In this case, to remove Treshia from future communications, select Add to do-not-mail (remove from flow). This will ensure the contact is opted out of any future emails in this campaign.

FAQs

  • Will the contact be notified when removed?
No, the contact will not receive any notification about the pause or removal.

  • Can I undo this action?
Yes, if you mistakenly remove the contact, you can re-enable them by removing them from the do-not-mail list in your settings.

This process ensures you can easily manage the email flow for specific contacts, keeping your lead campaigns personalized and responsive to your needs.
