Overview of key concepts and terms used in Oversee.

Search

  • Leads: Potential contacts who may be interested in your products. Typically, these are buyers or owners at specialty retail stores.

  • Business/Businesses: Refers to the companies or brands within the Oversee database that you can connect with for potential sales.

  • “Add to Campaign”: A feature allowing you to add a selected lead contact to a specific email campaign.

  • Block: A feature allowing you to hide all contacts from the same business in future search queries

Search Types

  • AI Labels: Search using tags such as business category, products (that the business sells), aesthetics, or values

  • Lookalikes: Leads suggested by Oversee based on similarities to your existing connections.

  • Business Websites: Find leads within the business you are specifically looking for.

  • Stockist Scraper: Find leads from competitor stockists or blog posts in real-time.


Leads

Lead Campaign: Automated email campaign with follow-up sequences, aimed to turn your leads into prospects.

  • Overview: A summary view of specific lead campaigns including performance metrics.

  • Contacts: A list of all the contacts involved in a particular lead campaign.

  • Email Steps: The sequence of emails sent as part of a lead campaign.

  • Send Settings: Configuration settings for how and when emails are sent in a lead campaign.


Prospects

  • Pipeline: View representing the stages in your sales process and where prospects stand.

  • Table: Tabular view showing all your prospects in the pipeline.

  • Prospect: A potential customer who has shown interest (either inbound or by replying to your cold email) but hasn't yet committed to a purchase.

  • Edit pipeline: Modify the steps and stages in your prospect pipeline.

  • Stages: The different phases a prospect goes through before becoming a customer, such as initial contact, sample requested, sample sent.

  • Add Prospect: A feature to manually add a new prospect to the pipeline.

  • Prospect value ($): The potential revenue from a prospect if they convert to a customer.


Customers

Segments:

  • Segment: A group of customers defined by a set of filters (e.g. “Top Account” segment can be used for all customers with average order value greater than $1,000).

  • Create segment: Form a new group of customers based on selected set of filters.

  • Filters: Tools to refine the customer segments with various attributes such as business category, purchase history, etc.

Analytics: Tools to analyze customer behavior, sales performance, and other key metrics.

Customer Campaigns: Initiate an email campaign targeted at a specific segment of customers.


Other features

Templates: Access and manage email and campaign templates.

  • Template: Pre-designed for emails and campaigns that can be customized and used repeatedly. Templates can be shared across anyone in the same brand account.

Inbox: A centralized area to view and manage communications received through Oversee.

Integrations:

  • Shopify Sync: Connect and synchronize data between Oversee and your Shopify store.

  • Faire Sync: Integration to manage connections and data synchronization with Faire, a wholesale marketplace.

  • Email Sync: Keep your professional email communications in sync with Oversee for seamless management.

Uploads: Area to upload and manage CSV files and other data imports.


Settings

General: Basic account settings such as user profile and preferences.

Billing: Manage payment methods, view invoices, and handle subscription details.

Team: Add or manage team members' access and roles within your Oversee account.

Do-Not-Mail list: A list of contacts who have opted out of receiving emails, ensuring compliance with email marketing laws.
