Customer Campaigns in Oversee allow you to engage specific groups of customers with tailored email outreach. This feature enables you to segment your customer base based on various filters (like purchase history, business category, or average order value) and initiate campaigns that address the unique needs or interests of each group. Running targeted customer campaigns can improve engagement, drive repeat purchases, and strengthen your relationship with existing clients.

To learn more visually, watch the video below that walks through the process step-by-step.

Steps to Create a Customer Campaign

1. Access the Campaign Feature

  • Navigate to the Campaign section in your Oversee dashboard.

  • Select Customer Campaigns from the options to begin setting up your targeted email outreach.

2. Choose Your Segment

  • Use the Create Segment feature to define the specific group of customers you want to target.

    • Example: You might create a segment for “Top Accounts” by setting filters for customers with an average order value over $1,000.

  • Once you've defined and saved your segment, it will be available for selection within the campaign setup.

3. Customize Your Campaign Content

  • Templates: Choose from existing templates or create a new email template for the campaign. Templates allow for consistency and can be customized to resonate with the specific segment.

  • Personalization: Utilize dynamic fields within the email templates (like customer name or store location) to personalize the communication, making it more relevant and engaging.

4. Set Up Email Steps

  • Email Steps allow you to structure a sequence of messages for your campaign.

  • Define the timing and content for each email in the sequence to nurture customer relationships over time.

  • Example setup: Start with a welcome email, follow up with a product recommendation, and conclude with a special offer.

5. Configure Send Settings

  • In the Send Settings tab, define when the emails should be sent to your selected segment.

  • Specify the Sender Email and configure Tracking Options to monitor engagement (e.g., open-tracking).

  • Set Sending Windows to control the times and days your emails go out, ensuring messages are sent during optimal engagement periods.

6. Review and Launch the Campaign

  • Before launching, review your campaign to ensure that all content, email steps, and send settings are configured correctly.

  • Click Activate Campaign to initiate the outreach.

Best Practices for Customer Campaigns

  • Use Segmentation Wisely: Targeting customers with content that aligns with their past behavior or interests leads to higher engagement rates.

  • Keep Messages Relevant: Customers are more likely to respond positively if they feel the communication is tailored to their needs or preferences.

  • Monitor Campaign Performance: Use the Overview section of your campaign to track metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. This data will help you refine future campaigns for even better results.

By leveraging Oversee’s Customer Campaign feature, you can nurture valuable relationships with your existing customers, drive repeat sales, and provide tailored experiences that strengthen brand loyalty.
